Delayed: Committee pushes Love Field new entrance presentation to later this year
Updated: Jul 2, 2020
Transportation and Infrastructure Committee originally had hearings set for May, then June. Friends of Bachman Lake continues to push for community input; Love Field will hold a public session on June 30.
The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee has moved the presentation by Love Field on narrowing choices for an alternate (possibly north) entrance to later this year, according to Mark Duebner, Director of Aviation for Love Field.
On May 18, Council Member and Committee Chair Lee Kleinman tabled the agenda item and pushed it to June 15 after expressing his desire to hear more input from voices outside of Love Field regarding this matter. Today, June 15, the item was not on the agenda and according to an email to Friends of Bachman Lake from Duebner, it has been pushed to later in the year, date undetermined.
Love Field will hold a public Alternate Entry Community Meeting online on June 30 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Register here for the session.
